Luke Littler won the Austrian Darts Open last weekend by beating Joe Cullen 8-4 in the final. Afterwards, he praised the Austrian crowd.
For Littler, it is already the second tournament victory this year on the European Tour. Earlier he was also the best at the Belgian Darts Open. After that tournament in Wieze, he was particularly praising the Belgian fans.
But after his win at the Austrian Darts Open, he addressed the crowd in Graz. "I said before that Belgium was good, but you guys are better. Much better than the Belgians, 100 percent," Littler said.
Littler, who is also doing extremely well in the Premier League Darts and even leads the standings after 13 days of play, has moved up to 25th in the world rankings thanks to this new tournament victory.
The next tournament on the European Tour is the Baltic Sea Darts Open in Kiel, which takes place May 10-12.
