The draw for the Danish Darts Open 2019 has been made on Thursday. The event will kick off on Friday afternoon in Copenhagen, marking the eighth event of the PDC European Tour 2019.

Luke Woodhouse and William O'Connor who comes off the back of coming runner-up with Steve Lennon in the World Cup of Darts will open proceedings up on Friday afternoon.

The likes of Nathan Aspinall and Kyle Anderson are in action also in the opening session; with the potential standout being the all Polish battle between Krzysztof Ratajski and Krzysztof Kciuk who impressed at Lakeside at the turn of the year.

Glen Durrant, Michael Smith and European Tour ever-present this year Steve Beaton are the stand-out players in the evening session before the seeded players enter the foray on Saturday.

There is no Michael van Gerwen this weekend with him taking the weekend off, Ian White replaces him as number one seed as he aims to make it three consecutive European Tour titles.

Mensur Suljovic is the current reigning and defending champion at the Danish Darts Open after seeing off Simon Whitlock in the final in a brilliant 8-3 victory last year.
