Michael Smith is known as one of the best scorers in darts and thus was shown in the semi finals on Sunday night at the PDC World Darts Championship where he broke the 180 record.
This was for 180’s during a semi-final in the tournament. He hit 17 180’s which is one more than Michael van Gerwen who previously hit 16.
In doing this, Smith has surely set out his stall ahead of facing MVG on New Years Day for a potential first World title.
