Michael van Gerwen will contest the final of the 2019 PDC World Darts Championship against Michael Smith as he looks for what will be a third World title.
In terms of his road to the final; he has seen off Alan Tabern (3-1), Max Hopp (4-1), Adrian Lewis (4-1), Ryan Joyce (5-1) and Gary Anderson (6-1).
He has a tournament average of 103.72. All tournament he has hit 32 180’s as well. His highest checkout has been 170 and his overall percentage on the doubles is 46.25%.

I know a lot of darts fans who cannot stand Arsepinall, oddly I know people who don't like darts but frequently attend events for the atmosphere and have no idea who was playing. - Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation.
