Michael van Gerwen will contest the final of the 2019 PDC World Darts Championship against Michael Smith as he looks for what will be a third World title.
In terms of his road to the final; he has seen off Alan Tabern (3-1), Max Hopp (4-1), Adrian Lewis (4-1), Ryan Joyce (5-1) and Gary Anderson (6-1).
He has a tournament average of 103.72. All tournament he has hit 32 180’s as well. His highest checkout has been 170 and his overall percentage on the doubles is 46.25%.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
