Lisa Ashton kicked off the fourth day of the PDC Winter Series with an impressive victory. She beat former world champion Rob Cross 6-5 in the first round.
The fourth-time ladies world champion punished Cross for missing seven match-darts on double 18 in the leg-decider, before Ashton hit double 10 with her second match-dart.
For Ashton it is the second victory against a player in the top 10 of the PDC Order of Merit in a short time. In September, The Lancashire Rose managed to beat Michael Smith.
