County match ends in disaster for Hedman after falling on wet floor and breaking wrist on non throwing hand

Despite winning her county match on the weekend, it ended in disaster for Deta Hedman as 'The Heart of Darts' broke her wrist at the tube station on the way home.

Hedman took to Twitter to say that she slipped on a wet floor and will be in plaster for 8-12 weeks but will still go to Killarney and Prague, this is due to it not being on her throwing hand.

"Won my county match at weekend but ended in disaster , fell on wet floor at tube station. Broke my wrist and in plaster for 8 to 12 weeks, but still going Killarney Festival this weekend and Prague next weekend for my birthday celebrations," she said.
