Distribution of prize money for WDF Swedish Open and Swedish Masters 2023

From Friday, August 16 to Sunday, August 18, the WDF Swedish Open is on the program in the Swedish city of Malmö. To warm up, participants will have the opportunity to play a pairs tournament on Friday.

The singles tournament at the WDF Swedish Open, to be played Saturday, has silver status. As a result, there is a relatively large amount of points and prize money to be earned. The winner of the men's tournament will pocket about 1,700 euros, while the losing finalist will receive 850 euros.

Players will receive prize money from reaching the final 32. The top 32 players are guaranteed 625 Swedish Kronor, which is approximately 50 euros. This increases from the last sixteen (105 euros) to 420 euros for a place in the semifinals. In the women's event, players earn prize money from reaching the last 16. The winner collects about 850 euros for her performance.

In addition to the Swedish Open, the Swedish Masters will also be played. This will take place on Sunday. The prize money for this event is the same as the Swedish Open.
