Final standings in the WDF Europe Cup 2022
The WDF Europe Cup is taking place this weekend in Gandia, Spain with the teams event the first on the schedule during Wednesday as England remained unbeaten going into the Last 16 which is due for Thursday.
Played in the evening, the order of the day on Thursday morning is the Singles Matches with singles winners and teams winners crowned over the course of the weekend.
England finished top of the first Men's Group with four wins in a strong team comprising of Luke Littler, James Hurrell, Scott Williams and Joshua Richardson. Czech Republic now await.
Netherlands are also one of the favourites and they won all five matches they played with the team comprising of Danny van Trijp, Jelle Klaasen, Dennie Olde Kalter and Wesley Plaisier. They now face Denmark.
Northern Ireland which featured Neil Duff and Chris Gilliland did not move through though finishing third in a group which comprised Croatia and Denmark who moved through.
In the Women's, it was also a clean sweep for England as the team of Beau Greaves, Claire Brookin, Deta Hedman and Lorraine Winstanley all sealed wins. Also unbeaten included Scotland, Netherlands and Wales who all move through.
