Prize money breakdown for the WDF Welsh Classic and Welsh Open 2024

The WDF Welsh Classic and Welsh Open is on the programme from Thursday, August 29 to Sunday, September 1. During these tournaments, players can take points for the WDF rankings, as well as earn substantial prize money.

On Thursday, there will be a warm-up tournament. On Friday, the event officially kicks off with pairs tournaments for the men and women. The winning pairs team in the men's will receive 600 pounds. In the ladies, a top prize of 400 pounds awaits.

The singles tournament of the Welsh Classic also begins on Friday. The winner in the men's event will win 1,500 pounds, while the top lady will receive 750 pounds. For the winner of the junior tournament, 150 pounds is up for grabs.

There is a mixed pairs tournament on Saturday, where the two winners get to split 600 pounds. The Welsh Open is on the program on Sunday. Here, the winner of the men's tournament will receive 1,500 pounds, and first place in the women's is valued at 750 pounds.

The men's list of participants includes the names of Thomas Banks, Moreno Blom, Darren Johnson, Jim McEwan, James Richardson, Gary Robson, Terry Jenkins and Steve West. In the women, Beau Greaves, Deta Hedman and Rhian O'Sullivan are among the participants.
