Wayne Warren BDO O2
The second round continues on Tuesday evening at the 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship with the last BDO World Champion, Wayne Warren among those in action.
Warren has been hit and miss since winning at the Indigo and will face Lee Shewan who performed well at times to down close friend, Jordan Brooks and with the first round out the way, the Fleetwood thrower will aim to topple 'Yank'.
Starting proceedings off will be 'Hillbilly' James Hurrell who has now been installed as the WDF World Number One after Brian Raman switched over to the PDC.
While not number one seed, he will look to show the performance befitting off his ranking when he faces John Desreumaux who will be remembered more for his post match interview than a scrappy affair against Donovan Lottering in the opening round.
Following that, Kirsty Hutchinson is expected by some to come through an open half with Priscilla Steenbergen awaiting the winner and faces Jo Clements who came back to deny Suzanne Smith in the opening round.
It is then time to go Double Dutch (technically) as the Dutch Dragon, Jules van Dongen who as was born in the Netherlands but lives in and represents the United States.
He is another PDC Tour Card holder who has not been at his best since starting his PDC career but has shown in the past 18 months that on his top game, he could be a standout for the title this week.
He faces Ryan de Vreede who saw off Francesco Raschini in the opening round in a scrappy tie but like any first round, he will hope to build on it now and topple Van Dongen.
