Gerwyn Price recovered from 7-4 down and survived a match dart in a deciding leg to see off

Price hit a 101 average en route to see off Aspinall and now finds himself in the semi-finals in Salzburg. The Iceman will face world champion Peter Wright in the semi-finals on Sunday evening.
Aspinall produced a superb start to proceedings against Price going into a 3-1 lead with a 110 average and three 180’s to his name.
‘The Asp’ was at just 23% on the doubles at the interval as Price took a 3-2 lead. When they returned back though, Price hit a brilliant 148 checkout to make it 5-4.
But he missed a dart at double 20 amid distraction from the crowd and Aspinall went 6-4 up as a result. He went 7-4 up as a result with a 100 checkout but Price broke back to make it 7-5.
It was three consecutive legs for Price at 7-7 as he kept himself in proceedings. He turned the match on his head at 8-7 from 7-4 down.
Price missed five darts at doubles and Aspinall made it 8-8. But Price went one away at 9-8, he couldn’t finish it off though as Aspinall hit six perfect darts and claimed an 11-darter.
