Wright not pleased with performance despite victory over Heta: "I wanted to go up and do better than that"

Peter Wright is through to the Third Round of the World Series of Darts Finals after seeing off Damon Heta in a 6-3 win. But despite making it to the Quarter-Finals, the World Champion wasn't pleased with his display.

"It was okay - I wanted to go up and do better than that, but to get the win was the most important thing," said Wright.

As a fans favourite, his thoughts on the return to crowds was always going to be a hot topic with them returning in Austria and he was glad to play in front of them again.

"It was amazing to have the fans back. I interacted with the crowd and they were fantastic," he added.
