2023 World Seniors Darts Masters confirmed with move to Yeovil, iconic Best of Three sets format set to continue amid WDF axe

After being played at Lakeside during its inaugural year, the World Seniors Darts Masters will move to Westlands, Yeovil as Tungsten Time continues to reach new venues.

Taking place between 24-25 June, 2023, 16 players will take to the stage in the legendary set play format which will continue on WSDT despite being dropped by the WDF for next month's edition in Bonte Wever.

10/16 stars have been confirmed for the tournament with defending champion David Cameron who lost at the WDF Lakeside World Championship and drove to the qualifier for this tournament, won through and then went all the way set to return.

As well as the player he defeated in the final in Phil 'The Power' Taylor. Defending World Seniors Darts World Champion, Robert Thornton will also be looking to add to his trophy cabinet.

Alongside some iconic names including Martin Adams, Trina Gulliver, Bob Anderson and John Part with 17 World Championships between them.

As well Kevin Painter will also continue his love affair with the World Seniors while after being confirmed for the Circus Tavern, Mark 'Flash' Dudbridge and Chris 'Mace the Ace' Mason who recently showed their class on the MODUS Super Series will also look to add titles in their second events of 2023.

Tickets are now on sale with two further invitations set to be confirmed alongside four players from the tour as they reaffirm their commitment to bringing through qualifiers from the Order of Merit.
