Chris Mason will play at the
World Seniors Darts Championship this upcoming 9-12 February at the Circus Tavern as one of the 24 player field.
Mason previously stated that he would rather qualify by right for the tournaments instead of receiving invites but was given his spot which he has accepted due to his performances in this week's MODUS Super Series and being 'flooded with requests' for him to play according to Billy Lovell of the WSDT.
During this past week, he impressed with a 103.66 average against John Walton and a 10-darter on the bull among the highlights and despite not winning the opening group, he sealed top spot in Group C with seven wins and three defeats and will play in Saturday's final.
Martin Adams, Trina Gulliver, Robert Thornton, Neil Duff, Kevin Painter, David Cameron, John Part and Tony O'Shea as well as Mason's great rival, Phil Taylor are currently in the 24 player field and they are now joined by 'Mace the Ace' with Motorhead set to ring out in Purfleet.
