Luke Humphries has crowned himself the best Pro Tour player of 2022 with the final Order of Merit confirmed.
'Cool Hand Luke' earned £187,750 at all Euro Tour and Players Championship tournaments this year. With that he kept Michael van Gerwen (135,250 pounds) well behind him.
Humphries won four Euro Tour tournaments and one Players Championship tournament in 2022. He also lost two finals on the Players Championship circuit
With the European Tours also counting towards them and helping with seedings for next year's tournaments.
Damon Heta finished in third place with 134,750 pounds. The Heat did, however, finish at the top of the ranking of only the Players Championship tournaments.
Rob Cross, Peter Wright, Dave Chisnall, Nathan Aspinall, Michael Smith, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Joe Cullen, Gerwyn Price, Danny Noppert, Ryan Searle, Martin Schindler, Jonny Clayton and Dimitri van den Bergh are also in the top 16.
This means they will not need to go to the European Tour qualifiers next year with Josh Rock just outside, Jose de Sousa, James Wade, Daryl Gurney, Chris Dobey, Adrian Lewis and Rowby-John Rodriguez will have to go to the qualifiers though.
