Chris Mason and
Colin McGarry have successfully made it through to the quarter-finals of the
World Seniors Darts Championship on Saturday night with respective wins over Manfred Bilderl and Ritchie Burnett.
Mason saw off the conqueror of Phil Taylor by three sets to one. After a flying start that saw 'Mace the Ace' race through the first set, Bilderl came back into things in set 2, evening the matchup. Despite Bilderl best efforts however, Mason would not be denied, taking the aforementioned 3-1 win.
The final quarter-final spot on offer went to Colin McGarry. The Northern Irishman added Richie Burnett to his scalp of Leonard Gates from the first round. Taking the win, similarly to Mason 3-1, McGarry now faces off against Mark Dudbridge.
