Chris Mason and Colin McGarry have successfully made it through to the quarter-finals of the World Seniors Darts Championship on Saturday night with respective wins over Manfred Bilderl and Ritchie Burnett.

Mason saw off the conqueror of Phil Taylor by three sets to one. After a flying start that saw 'Mace the Ace' race through the first set, Bilderl came back into things in set 2, evening the matchup. Despite Bilderl best efforts however, Mason would not be denied, taking the aforementioned 3-1 win.

The final quarter-final spot on offer went to Colin McGarry. The Northern Irishman added Richie Burnett to his scalp of Leonard Gates from the first round. Taking the win, similarly to Mason 3-1, McGarry now faces off against Mark Dudbridge.

Damn you McGarry, a nobody taking out World Champion Richie Burnett. Well if Richie cannot win, come on Chris Mason. It seems so disappointing to see Phil Taylor the greatest darts player ever go out in such low key style. It is so strange when the great players lose their ability.

You must be as barking as burnett, i am surprised he hasn't had scores refused as he is in the air and half way down the throw at times when the dart hits the board! I am also surprised he hasn't done himself an injury! He must be absolutely knackered when he finishes a match!!!
