After a somewhat comfortable victory of Trina Gulliver in the opening round of the World Seniors Championship, John Henderson was critical of his performance after putting too much pressure on himself.
Averaging just 82.32 while Gulliver averaged 70.47, Henderson was able to make his chances count but felt he gave a few too many away to Gulliver that luckily weren't taken advantage of.

"I've always used any negative press to my advantage": Neil Duff vows to silence critics after World Seniors opener
Speaking to Online Darts, he said: "Delighted to get through to the next round but I'm not happy with the performance.
"First round is always the hardest one to get through, and obviously with me playing Trina everyone's expecting me to get through comfortably. I put so much pressure on myself.
"If I turned up with my a-game, I'd win comfortably. But tonight I gave Trina chances and it was a bit of a low-key performance tonight."
Despite being not at his best, Henderson was able to secure his spot in the last 16 on Saturday where he will face Kevin Painter, and with a day-off now to work on his game, he is hopeful of a better performance next time around.
