Lisa Ashton continues history-making run at the World Seniors Darts Championships, set to face Colin McGarry in the semi-finals

A long-standing trailblazer of women's darts, Lisa Ashton continues to make history and is into the semi-finals of the World Seniors Darts Championships thanks to a 3-1 quarter-final win over Chris Mason on Sunday afternoon.

Mason started strongly, taking the opening two legs of the first set but after missing a dart for the opener, Ashton punished, to move one up. After Mason again took control of set 2, Ashton fought back to double her lead. Although the third set did go to 'Mace the Ace', 'The Lancashire Rose' opened set 4 with a 12 darter and from there, there was no stopping her as she took the set and secured her place in the final four.

Completing the semi-final lineup is Northern Irishman, Colin McGarry. The Chief had already beaten notable names such as Leonard Gates and Richie Burnett with Mark Dudbridge now added to his resume thanks to a 3-1 win over the former PDC World Championship finalist.
