There will be a third edition of the
World Seniors Darts Masters this year. The new edition will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9 in Houghton-le-Spring.
This has given the tournament a new playing venue, as the past two editions of the World Seniors Darts Masters were held at Lakeside and Yeovil, respectively.
The field of participants includes a total of 16 players. The event is known for its unique set format, in which two legs must be won to take a set.
The first edition of the World Seniors Darts Masters was won in 2022 by
David Cameron, who at the time beat
Phil Taylor in the final. Then
Leonard Gates won the second edition at the expense of
Richie Howson.
