O'Shea set to face Taylor after downing former rival Adams, Qualifier guaranteed in final as Howson sees off Deller

The semi-finals are set up at the 2022 World Seniors Darts Masters in Lakeside with Tony O'Shea set to face Phil Taylor and Richie Howson facing David Cameron with a qualifier confirmed for the final in Frimley Green.

O'Shea was facing his old Lakeside rival, Martin Adams and sealed a 4-1 victory in a superb display from 'Silverback' who would be a popular winner this weekend.

He sealed the first set before Adams replied with the second in consecutive with a 76 checkout. Consecutive sets with the third going without reply saw O'Shea go 2-1 up and after missing two darts for the fourth set, it proved pivotal as 'Silverback' went 3-1 up.

Before O'Shea eased through the final set with a 15 and 17 darter including a 76 checkout to move through. While for Howson, 'The Owl' continues to impress with a 4-2 win over Keith Deller who will head out to the qualifier.

This means a major chance for Howson or Cameron this evening when the semi-finals begin at 7pm BST.
