Saturday night the four final matches from the first round of the
World Seniors Darts Matchplay will be played. Among others, 16-time world champion
Phil Taylor will be in action.
The 63-year-old darts legend will be in action in the third match of the evening against three-time world champion John Part. The two met twice in a World Cup final. In 2001 Taylor pulverized his Canadian opponent 7-0 in sets, but two years later Part took revenge by beating 'The Power' 7-6 after a thriller.
The evening kicks off with a friendly between
John Henderson and David Cameron. Next, two-time senior world champion
Robert Thornton faces off with WDF world champion Neil Duff. The final match of the evening session is between
Glen Durrant and Jim McEwan.
Livestream
The World Seniors Darts Matchplay will be televised all weekend on TNT Sports. Elsewhere however, for a fee of £9.99, interested parties can watch the entire weekend via a live stream at www.247.tv/live/darts.
