The field has been confirmed for the
World Seniors Darts Matchplay which will be completed on 15 November 2025 at Epsom Racecourse and will be headlined by such players as World Champion
Ross Montgomery. As well as
Steve Beaton,
Mervyn King,
Martin Adams and Robert Thornton.
The entire tournament will be completed in one day. In addition, darts legend Phil Taylor will be on hand for a Q&A with attendees.
Henderson is the defending champion at the World Seniors Matchplay. The Scot won 9-6 over Gates in the final last year. The man of the season on the seniors circuit, however, is another Scot. Montgomery won the senior world title earlier this year and was also recently the best at the World Seniors Darts Champion of Champions tournament.
As well as those names, it is a star studded affair with Neil Duff, Trina Gulliver, Richie Burnett, Vincent van der Voort, Leonard Gates and Richie Howson all confirmed for the tournament.
The tournament was confirmed in the advent of the World Seniors Champion of Champions last Sunday with tournament organiser, Jason Francis delivering on the promise to give some news about the tournament.
It will also end the season with the World Seniors Darts Championship one of the only tournaments on the calendar which will remain the same. It will still take place at the Circus Tavern next February, but it adds a layer of continuity that hasn't been given as of late in these events.
