Jim Williams is through to the semi-finals at the 2020 BDO World Darts Championship. The Quiff booked a convincing victory over Paul Hogan.

Hogan was not a shadow of the player who impressed at this event in his first three matches. He averaged 99 on Thursday evening to saw off Martijn Kleermaker after an entertaining tie. However this time, the Hampshire ace only averaged 82.
It went wrong in the first set, after the Englishman gave away a 2-0 lead. The set went 3-2 to Williams after a superb 106 checkout. The Welshman then easily extended his lead to 3-0.
Hogan took the fourth set, but Crocodile Dundee did not get any further. With a 14-darter, Williams did the job in the sixth set as he reaches the semi-finals for the second time in his career.
Mikuru Suzuki became the second finalist for the ladies event after beating 16-year-old Beau Greaves. The Japanese reigning champion will meet Lisa Ashton in the ladies final on Saturday.
