Mitchell Lawrie continues to completely dominate the JDC Advanced Tour. The 15-year-old Scot enjoyed another perfect weekend in Bristol by winning all four tournaments. He extended his remarkable unbeaten run to 36 matches and took his 2026 tally to twelve titles.
The young Scot had already impressed last month with victories at Events 15 and 16, but he went one better this past weekend. With triumphs at Events 17, 18, 19, and 20, Lawrie once again underlined his status as the standout force on the JDC Advanced Tour.
His first title of the weekend came in Event 17. In the final, he faced stiff resistance from Lewis Cook, who averaged 101. Still, Lawrie came out on top once more. Earlier in the day, he had defeated Kaya Baysal 5-1 in a repeat of last year’s JDC Junior World Championship final. In the quarterfinals, he had to dig deep against Jayden Walker, overturning a 3-2 deficit to win.
Event 18 brought more of the same with no one able to live with the Scot. Lawrie opened his campaign with a 103.66 average in a 4-0 win over Mongolian player Tergal Khurelkhuu. He later posted another ton-plus average in his quarterfinal against Archie Self. After a whitewash of Ben Townley, he reached the final, where he beat Walker 6-2.
Lawrie extends extraordinary run
On Sunday, Lawrie kept his impressive winning streak rolling. At Event 19, he dropped only five legs across six matches. After convincing wins over Belgians Vince Kenis, Aaron De Ridder, and Jason Goossens, he also took care of Addison Hefferon and Lewis Cook.
The final set up an all-Scottish clash with Owen Bryceland. Lawrie set the tone straight away with a classy 127 checkout to move 3-1 ahead. He then pulled clear with legs of 14 and 13 darts to seal a commanding 6-2 victory.
His appetite was far from sated. In Event 20, Lawrie claimed his sixth consecutive title on the Advanced Tour. Once again, Lewis Cook was the runner-up in the final. The Scot won 6-2 to cap a flawless weekend.
The standout feature was the consistent quality of his game. In five of his six matches, Lawrie averaged over 91, including a strong 98.04 in his semifinal against Archie Self.
Thanks to his extraordinary run, Lawrie now holds a 29-point lead
in the JDC Advanced Tour 2026 rankings. Lewis Cook and Kaya Baysal sit second and third respectively, level on points. Jayden Walker is fourth, followed by Jack Johnson in fifth. Owen Bryceland retains sixth place thanks to his runner-up finish in Event 19.
