Darryl Pilgrim had probably the best hour of his darts career on Tuesday morning. The 36-year-old dart player posted incredibly high averages and also threw a nine darter.
The Englishman makes his appearance this week in the MODUS Super Series, where darters compete against each other in a weekly competition. In his match against Scott Taylor, Pilgrim managed to throw a nine darter and an average of 118.88. The remarkable thing was that he nevertheless lost this match 4-2 to Taylor.
But Pilgrim had an even higher average in store moments later. In his match against Dennie Olde Kalter (4-0 win), Pilgrim even reached an average of 122.69. Moreover, this was the highest average ever in the history of the MODUS Super Series.
