The former major champion’s woes on the doubles continued with the Northern Irishman piling the pressure on and then taking further advantage when he couldn’t finish legs off. This allowed Burness to grab another set and he looked to be loving it up on the stage. Checkouts of 106 and 88 put him well on the way to victory in the following set and he finished the job off.
