"I can't wait to play against the best" says Q-School star Bradley Brooks

After making history in Wigan, Bradley Brooks has set his sights on developing further on the PDC Pro Tour.
The 17-year-old from Blackburn became the youngest player ever to win at Q-School. His success on day four at Robin Park confirmed a spot on the tour for the next two years.
"It feels so amazing, I can't believe what I've done," said Brooks. "I did OK on the first day but played really well on Day Two so I felt relaxed from there on."
Brooks, the Junior Darts Corporation and PDC Development Tour graduate, won eight games on Sunday to confirm his card. The youngster beat Dennis Smith, Alan Tabern Jnr and Stuart Comerford before an impressive win over Haruki Muramatsu. A 5-0 win over Darren Place, followed by a 5-3 defeat of Simon Stevenson, saw him into the quarter-finals. Ricky Williams was his defeated opponent there, before a 5-1 thrashing of John Goldie sealed a historic triumph.
But, rather than looking backwards, Brooks has his sights set firmly on his future. The prospect of playing the PDC's top talent, particularly the world number one, is a tantalising one.
"I can't wait to play against the best," he added. "Playing against the likes of Michael van Gerwen will only make me better and I can't wait."

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I blame the PDC to a certain extent though doubt they really care as they win regardless of which player wins or loses.Mysstree16-11-2024

I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
