Cross and Price dumped out by Reyes and Ratajski in Minehead

There has been two major shocks as the first round of the Players Championship Finals continue in Minehead with Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price dumped out.

World Champion Cross was smashed by Cristo Reyes in an unexpected 6-1 victory for the Spaniard. It was a 97 average with fifty percent on the doubles for ‘The Spartan’. He had a high checkout of 112 on his way to this big win.
It was also an unbelievable win when it came to the Ratajski vs Price clash. The newly crowned Grand Slam Champion was the subject of a brilliant comeback from the Polish Eagle. Price was 5-1 up and seemingly cruising towards an easy win over the in form three-time ranking winner. Ratajski fired back to claim a 6-5 win and move through to the second round in Minehead.
Jonny Clayton saw off compatriot Mark Webster in a comfortable win on stage two. Ricky Evans eased past Jan Dekker as the Kettering ace continues his brilliant form.
