The draw has been completed for the
German Darts Masters, the new
World Series event which will take place next weekend in Dusseldorf and will be the penultimate event before the finals in Glasgow next month.
The number one seed Gary Anderson will open his contest with potentially one of the ties of the round as he takes on home hope Max Hopp. Anderson who is seeded due to van Gerwen missing 3 events on the World Series tour recently will be looking to build on his two wins in Perth and Dubai ahead of a return home next month at the Braehead.
Probably the two ties of the round though are between Auckland Darts Master Kyle Anderson and the Champions League winner Mensur Suljovic with the latter making his World Series debut after a brilliant few months on the tour and it should be a thriller. Also Michael van Gerwen who has not been playing to his amazing standards as of late will face Martin Schindler who will fancy his chances having impressed on his debut year on the
PDC tour.
Finally Phil Taylor, the 16-time world champion who won the Melbourne Darts Masters, has drawn Robert Marijanovic in his last ever World Series event with the legendary player not taking part in the finals event next month in Glasgow.
