Ratajski rejects BDO Lakeside World Championship place

Krzysztof Ratajski has declined the opportunity to play at the BDO Lakeside World Championships at Frimley Green later on this year.
'The Polish Eagle' who recently became the Winmau World Masters Champion with this decision has signalled his desire to become a PDC player.
He has qualified for the European Championship in a few weeks time after a brilliant year on PDC's Euro Tour but would need to become a PDPA member to take part which would mean not being able to play the BDO circuit.
He will now seek a Alexandra Palace spot despite missing out on qualification in the Eastern European Qualifier in the semi-finals but a good run in Hassalt could see him play at the tournament and even if not he will probably be at the first ever European Q-School next year to try and join the tour.
England's Gary Robson (the highest ranked player on the BDO Invitation Table not already qualified) has now been added to the line up and is set to make his 16th Lakeside World Championship appearance in January.
