Gary Anderson is the first player through to the final in Glasgow, a final that is on home soil at the World Series of Darts Finals and he will either play Michael van Gerwen or Daryl Gurney in a final that will be befitting for the tour as a whole as all 3 men have had good years on the World Series tour.
He made light work of James Wade his opponent who will take heart in the fact that he has reached a semi-final after a pretty atrocious year on the tour for the former multiple time major champion. Stats wise Anderson hit Six 180s and a 94.8 average but lots of darts at doubles and he knows to win the title later he has to improve that to send the crowd home happy.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
