Fine finishing of 102 and 101 give the Northern Irishman a great birthday present as he edges towards safety after only losing twice but drawing the rest up to now.
For Gurney the averages were also good with the World Grand Prix champion claiming 98 to Suljovic’s 96 in this win.
He can go forward to this weekend’s Euro Tour in Leverkusen with some much needed confidence after tonight’s win.
