Daryl Gurney edged out Michael Smith in the fourth match of the evening at the Premier League in Dublin.

Gurney claimed a 7-5 win over last year’s Premier League finalist with four 180’s and a 99 average.
The match was quite even in the early goings with Smith doubling his advantage but being pegged back by ‘Superchin’.
Despite that though, Gurney nearly missed a golden opportunity. Smith missed darts once again and he went 3-2 up.
He then went 4-2 up with a sublime 140 checkout with Smith waiting on tops after nine.
Despite that though, he didn’t smash his way to the win with Smith coming back to lead 5-4.
In a back and forth contest, Gurney retook the lead and the game winning 7-5 in the end.
