Hopp makes brilliant comeback, De Zwaan wins double Dutch battle in Minehead

The first two games on both stages at the Players Championship Finals are done with Max Hopp and Jeffrey de Zwaan through on the main stage.

Brendan Dolan and Ryan Searle are through from stage two also seeing off Michael Barnard and Josh Payne respectively. De Zwaan started off proceedings with a win over Jelle Klaasen.
A 94 average with three 180’s as well as 40 percent on the doubles told the story in a good win in the Battle of the Cobra's.
Hopp played well against Steve West and had to come from 3-1 down to win 6-4. He hit four 180’s with a 98 average for the Maximiser. The German hit six of his fifteen darts on the doubles, while West missed eighteen darts to finish a leg.
