Labanauskas continues winning form, Klaasen and Joyce impressive

There is three further winners at the European Darts Matchplay in Hamburg with Darius Labanauskas continuing his winning form on the European Tour, Jelle Klaasen keeping his World Matchplay hopes alive and Ryan Joyce was impressive in defeating Mark Wilson.

Labanauskas defeated Mike de Decker 6-2 with an 86 average. ‘Lucky D’ was impressive while not reaching his best in a performance that included a maximum and 35% checkout rate.
Klaasen was even more impressive for the first time in some time. He hit a 95 average as he kept his hopes of reaching Blackpool alive. A high checkout of 136 with 50% on his doubles saw him set up a clash with Michael Smith tomorrow.
Joyce eased into the second round with a 6-1 win against Wilson which included a 87 average as well as 2 maximums and 33% on his doubles. It won’t get easier for him though as he faces Michael van Gerwen tomorrow.
