It's no surprise that Michael van Gerwen has been named the bookies' favourite for the Champions League of Darts.

Tournament sponsors Paddy Power have published their odds for September's showdown in Brighton. Van Gerwen, despite failing his last two attempts to win the Champions League of Darts, is at 4/5 to make it third time lucky. He is also the clear 1/9 favourite to reach the semi-finals, and is at 3/10 to win Group A.
World Matchplay champion Gary Anderson features alongside van Gerwen in Group A. The Flying Scotsman, who also won the UK Open in March, is second-favourite at 4/1. World champion Rob Cross is at 7/1 to take the title, while world number two Peter Wright is at 15/2.
Mensur Suljovic returns to Brighton as the Champions League title holder. Bettors can throw their support behind the popular Austrian at a price of 10/1. He's followed by Dave Chisnall, who is a 25/1 outside shot.
Daryl Gurney and Simon Whitlock are the rank outsiders to claim glory, according to Paddy Power. The two 2017 World Grand Prix finalists are 33/1 to win the title. Gurney can be picked at the same odds to win Group A, while Whitlock is a 13/2 pick to win Group B.
Phil Taylor won the inaugural Champions League of Darts in Cardiff two years ago. Suljovic saw off Anderson to claim the title in 2017. This year the event moves to Brighton in a move which "delighted" PDC chairman Barry Hearn.
