Prize fund breakdown confirmed for BDO Welsh Classic & Welsh Open 2019

The prize fund breakdown for the BDO Welsh Open and Classic has been released ahead of a double header in Prestatyn this upcoming weekend.

Adam Smith-Neale, Tony O’Shea, Scott Mitchell, Andy Hamilton, Scott Waites, Martin Adams, Jim Williams and Dean Winstanley are among the big names involved in Wales. Mike Warburton is the current Welsh Open Champion having defeated Andy Hamilton last year. In the Ladies it was Deta Hedman who defeated Anastasia Dobromyslova 5-2. The men's winner of the newly implemented Welsh Classic will claim £3000 with the runner up getting £1200. The prize-fund goes all the way down to the Last 32 with the losers at this stage getting £50. In the ladies the winner will get £600 while the runner-up will receive £300. The prize fund similarly goes down to the Last 32 with the losers getting £20. Welsh Open wise the winner will get £5000 with the runner-up getting £2400. The prize fund goes down to the Last 64 with £60 going to the losers. Ladies wise the winner will receive £2000 with the runner up getting £1000. to view the draw for both events.
