The first session has concluded at the German Darts Grand Prix with Karel Sedlacek and Kyle Anderson through to Round Two in Munich.

Sedlacek edged past Diogo Portela but this did not tell the full story with the Czech ace producing some brilliant darts for most of the tie. Sedlacek was up at 110 in the nine-dart average compared to 76 from his opponent but Portela started to fire as Sedlacek started to miss. This gave a thrilling conclusion to proceedings but its ‘Evil Charlie’ who moves through to face Ian White tomorrow.
Anderson looked good in spells in his victory over Host Nation Qualifier and famous giant killer Kevin Munch. Munch has now lost 10 games in a row on the European Tour and ‘The Original’ who has produced some great darts this year will be hoping to continue his run with future qualification in doubt. He was barely troubled throughout and moved through in a 6-2 success against ‘The Dragon’.
