Alan Norris returned to form dumping out home favourite Max Hopp 6-1. 'Chuck' averaged 105 second only to Joe Cullen today and made light work of the 'Maximiser' who couldn't use the crowd to his advantage.
Simon Whitlock made sure there wasn't another seed out to end the night by defeating Kyle Anderson 6-4. 'The Wizard averaged 100 in a good win for the number 3 seed and Whitlock as a result will face Mervyn King tomorrow.
