Dave 'Chizzy' Chisnall, the World Number 6 averaged 100.21 and had 7 180's in a 6-4 win against the 'Demolition Man' Darren Webster as the St Helens ace returned to form on the Euro Tour.
Dennis Nilsson continued his amazing debut weekend on the Euro Tour to see off Daryl Gurney 6-5 in probably the biggest upset on the Euro Tour this year. Gurney averaged over a ton compared to Nilsson's 92 but a devastating 180 in the final leg gave the Swede a chance he didn't mess up and he will face Dave Chisnall tomorrow.
The seeds continued to topple as Ron Meulenkamp defeated a winner on the Euro Tour this year Michael Smith, 'The Bomb' defeated the 'Bully Boy' 6-3 despite an average of only 82 and will play either Rob Cross or Josh Payne tomorrow.
Peter Wright came from 2-2 to knock out young gun Chris Quantock. 'Snakebite' the number 1 seed despite not looking at his best yet averaging 88.22 made light work of the Strensall native and will face either Ronny Huybrechts tomorrow who vanquished him last time out in Mannheim.
