Raymond van Barneveld has condemned Peter Wright to a third straight 7-1 defeat in the Premier League as ‘Snakebite’s woes continue with the World Number Two unable to hit the doubles and live with the Dutch legend.
Barney has climbed into the Play-Offs as a result and barring a real up turn in form, Wright who last year had multiple darts to win the Premier League will seemingly be relegated.
For Van Barneveld he of course will not be playing this weekend in Leverkusen so will be able to relax before he faces Michael van Gerwen next week in a potential tungsten thriller.
Stats wise, it was a 99.76 average for Barney with 53.85% on the doubles and 1 180. This is compared to Wright who averaged 88 with 16% on the doubles.
