Michael van Gerwen survived another leg-decider on the European Tour as the world number one defeated Brendan Dolan 6-5 in the second round at the European Darts Grand Prix.

Dolan moved 5-4 in front, but was not able to keep his own leg within five turns in leg ten. Van Gerwen broke back with a 94 finish, before hitting a 14-darter to book his place in the third round.
Peter Wright reached the final day in Sindelfingen after defeating Niels Zonneveld 6-4. The Dutchman missed two darts to level in the tenth leg before Wright hit double 8 to win.
