Michael van Gerwen has set his sights on winning the Grand Slam of Darts for the third time in a row.
The Dutch ace cruised past James Wade in last year's final in Wolverhampton, a year after beating Phil Taylor to claim the title for the first time.
And the PDC world number one is confident of building on his recent World Series of Darts victory.
"I'm feeling great after the last couple of weeks and I'm really looking forward to the Grand Slam," he told pdc.tv.
"I've won it for the last two years and it would be great to make it three, but I can't look too far ahead."
Van Gerwen kicks off his Grand Slam campaign on Saturday evening, as he takes on Ross Montgomery.
"I know I'm playing well but I have to make sure I prepare for every match because the group games are short and you need to make a fast start.
"I'm only focusing on the game against Ross because you can't afford to look any further. I've not played him for a long time but he's a good player."
As well as PDC star Montgomery, van Gerwen will take on Rob Cross in Group A.
Mighty Mike recently defeated PDC rising star Cross in the European Championship final.
Joe Murnan completes the group. Games are best of nine legs, with the top two players qualifying.
