Van Gerwen smashes Smith to reach 33rd career European Tour final

Michael van Gerwen has stormed into his 33rd career European Tour final seeing off Michael Smith in a 7-2 win at the European Darts Trophy.

Van Gerwen smashed in a 102.07 average with a 58% checkout percentage.
He also hit 3 180’s as he was merciless in breezing past ‘Bully Boy’.
‘Mighty Mike’ will face either Richard North or James Wade in the final and he looks likely to add to his haul of titles come the end of the night.
