Wade will face Van Gerwen who he faced in his other final in a losing effort earlier on this year.
As usual from ‘The Machine’ it was a mix of his clinical game including a 136 as well as just doing enough.
He averaged 99 and hit 3x 180’s on his way to victory.
For North who he saw off, he can be happy with his weekend’s work having qualified for the European Championship and reached another semi-final.
