Seigo Asada has won the PDJ Japanese Qualifier to gain a spot at this years' World Championship at the Alexandra Palace.
Asada joins Willard Bruguier, Cody Harris, Gordon Mathers and Kim Viljanen so far in securing qualification as international qualifiers for this year's 25th edition of the darting spectacle.
Asada enjoyed three 4-1 wins on his way to the final, defeating Noriyuki Negishi, Toyokazu Shibata and Shingo Enomata, before producing his best display of the event in a 5-2 defeat of Yuya Higuchi.
The player known as 'The Ninja' may be known to darts fans from both sides of the code having appeared at the Lakeside World Championship three times and also last year's World Series event the Tokyo Darts Masters where he lost to Gary Anderson and he is also a four time Japan Open Winner.
