Webster had an imperious performance and was on fire throughout not giving Bunting an inch. This was so much so that the Demolition Man didn’t even drop a leg against the Bullet.
The first set in particular was brilliant with him averaging 102 and he ended up with a 98 average. Webster has long this year spoke about his ambitions for a Premier League place and has showed why he potentially deserves to be in the reckoning with another quality display.
Next up was
Raymond van Barneveld who saw off Ricky Evans in a 2-1 victory over ‘Rapid’ who looked to be heading towards the win. In the opening set it was all Barney with a 3-1 opening salvo from the Dutch legend.
Despite looking like he was going to be cruising towards victory, Evans came back to inflict the same on Barney. He started the final set with a double 5 to go one up but a 164 checkout from the five time World Champion was the turning point as he went on to claim the win.
