Williams edged past Scott Mitchell in a thrilling game
in which he hit 13 180’s, a 95 average and 50% on the doubles. It was a match where they were level pegging until it went to 3-3 in which the Welshman pulled away for the win.
Like alluded to he will play ‘Duzza’ and he will be aiming to avenge his defeat twelve months ago in which he was 4-1 up before losing 5-4.
If he does, he could find himself in prime position to become World Champion for the first time.
