Glen Durrant Lakeside

Glen Durrant is just two wins away from a coveted third title at the Lakeside. The two-time Lakeside champion defeated Kyle McKinstry 5-2 to move into the semi-finals.

The Middlesbrough ace played a terrific game against the Northern Irishman, who missed a few chances to give 'Duzza' a better match. With a 98 average Durrant showed once again he is biggest contender to lift the trophy on Sunday.
Durrant can become the second player after Eric Bristow to win the Lakeside three times in a row. Bristow won this tournament three constructive times between 1984 and 1986. 'The Crafty Cockney' claimed the title five times in his career.
