The 2022
Premier League Darts line-up has been confirmed ahead of the biggest darting roadshow starting again on Thursday evening.
Joe Cullen has been selected to make his debut starting in Cardiff after claiming the 2022 Masters on Sunday evening, while World Number One
Gerwyn Price and World Championship finalist are set for their return.
Heading up the line-up are the world's top three box office names in Price,
Peter Wright and
Michael van Gerwen, as well as reigning champion
Jonny Clayton.
Former Premier League winners
James Wade and
Gary Anderson complete the line-up with the new format seeing only eight players involved who will contest mini tournaments every week collecting points until the play-offs.
Among the big names to miss out include European Champion, Rob Cross who becomes only the second player after Paul Nicholson to miss out having won a major in the previous year.
As well as former World Matchplay champion, Dimitri van den Bergh and last year's finalist Jose de Sousa.
